Harp and Teaching Adults

I specialize in teaching beginning adult harpists, including many who are learning music for the very first time. Some of my most delightful students are those who decide to begin harp in their middle or later years.

As an adult student myself, I understand both the joys and challenges of learning a new instrument later in life. It truly is never too late to begin harp lessons! My adult students have ranged in age from their 30s to their mid-70s, and one dedicated student continued taking lessons until she was 90 years old.

Whether you are fulfilling a lifelong dream, returning to music after many years, or simply looking for a new challenge, I would love to help you begin your harp journey.

Harp and Teaching Children

Teaching children is one of life's greatest joys. Children are curious, enthusiastic, imaginative, forgiving, and full of wonder. Their excitement for learning makes every lesson a delight.

As a classroom teacher for 40 years, I have had the privilege of working with children of all ages. I strive to create lessons that are encouraging, engaging, and tailored to each student's individual interests and abilities.

Harp Rentals

Interested in learning to play but don't yet own a harp? The Atlanta Harp Center offers an excellent rental program, allowing students to begin lessons without the immediate expense of purchasing an instrument.
